His portfolio includes awarded short films, features, documentaries, and advertising campaigns for local and international clients such as Coca-Cola, HBO, McDonald’s, Mattel, Ford, E! Entertainment TV, Johnson & Johnson, Discovery Kids, Chevrolet, Nestlé, Ogilvy, Toyota, Procter & Gamble, J. Walter Thompson, Concept McCann, Empresas Polar, Pepsi, Chrysler, among hundreds of companies who have trusted his sensibility to find the right mood for any situation. For this work, he has obtained many nominations and 5 ANDA (National Association of Publicists) Awards, as well as 1 PromaxBDA Award.

He has produced albums for artists of different genres as well as his own bands like the Jazz Trio “THE” , he also participated as an arranger, co-producer and guitarist in one of the best-selling albums of the multi-Grammy Award winning band Guaco: “Equilibrio”.

Juan Angel is also an in-demand session and live guitar player for international artists like Armando Manzanero, Ricardo Arjona, Franco de Vita, Bertín Osborne, Simón Díaz (†), Carlos Baute, Guaco, Ilan Chester, Yordano, Frank Quintero, Guillermo Carrasco, Pedro Castillo, Kiara, Mariana Serrano, Alejandro Zavala, Fernando Osorio, etc. In the jazz and latin jazz world too, he has toured and recorded with well-renowned names like Mike Stern, Robert Quintero, Linda Briceño, Rafael Greco, Gonzalo Teppa, Dave Samuels (†), Pablo Gil, Alfredo Naranjo, Gerry Weil, Chipi Chacón, and much more.

Always creating something from his lab, Ezquisound Studios in Caracas, Juan Angel Esquivel has also composed custom music for high-rating TV shows like Real Housewives of Orange County, and Vanderpump Rules, through Music Mind Group.
